Terry Lyon

Terry is a retired engineer whose life focus has always been painting. A Vinton, Virginia native, Terry has been a prominent fixture at the Studios on the Square gallery for decades. A student of technique and artistic expression, Terry's art is continuously maturing and refuses to remain stagnant. Whether experimenting with new techniques or studying the great masters, Terry is constantly looking for ways to grow as an artist.

When he is not in his studio working, Terry can usually be found somewhere around Downtown Roanoke engulfed in a game of chess or sitting on his porch admiring the sunlight beating through the trees and resting on the forest bed. Of course, he might be taking a break from art altogether and simply be playing with his dog, Darcy, or spending time with his beautiful wife, Linda.
